Dr Victor Pavlych
Dr Victor Pavlych was born in Uzhgorod, Western Ukraine. At the age of 18 he and his family immigrated to Chicago. Dr Pavlych always had a passion for dentistry which led him to enroll at UIC College of Dentistry. He graduated in 2005 and immediately began an additional GPR Residency training at Loyola University Medical Center. The 1 year rigorous GPR program allowed Dr Pavlych to perfect his technique and further his education by working alongside many specialists in areas of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic and Laser Dentistry, Fixed and Removable Dentistry, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, in addition to Anesthesia training and General and Emergency Medicine
Following his residency, Dr Pavlych assumed a position as an Attending Dentist at Edward Hines Jr VA Medical Center. During his 8 year appointment at the Medical Center, Dr Pavlych successfully performed many implant procedures including single and multiple implant placement, hard and soft tissue grafting, open and closed sinus augmentations, full mouth rehabilitations, implant or natural dentition based, or combination of both, as well as practice of general dentistry. Dr Pavlych has completed many additional continuing education hours in various areas of dentistry, always keeping up with new technologies, procedures, and materials.
In the Summer of 2014 Dr Pavlych opened doors of his private practice. He named it Comprehensive Dental and Implant Center to underline his commitment to provide advanced treatments to his patients along with the newest equipment offered in his practice. Dr Pavlych is dedicated in striving to deliver the highest quality dentistry to his patients without any compromises.
Dr Bohdanna Czerniak
Dr. Bohdanna Czerniak, DMD, grew up an American Ukrainian in the suburbs of Chicago. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in at the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL, she went on to achieve a master’s degree in Biomedical Science at Midwestern University in Downer’s Grove and her doctoral dental degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ.
Her professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Illinois State Dental Society, Ukrainian Medical Association of North America, and the Chicago Dental Society.
She grew up active in Chicago's large Ukrainian community- attending and graduating St. Nicholas School of Ukrainian Studies. She was also a member and counselor at the American Ukrainian Youth Association, with whom she had the privilege of traveling to Ukraine to celebrate the 10th year of independence. Two years later, as a member of Hromovytsia Dance Ensemble, she again traveled and toured the beautiful country of Ukraine.
Dr. Czerniak especially enjoys working with kids. She also enjoys volunteering her time both locally and abroad. Her most memorable trip was when she traveled to the Kingdom of Tonga, where she had the opportunity to provide dental care to those in need.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, traveling and learning about other cultures, and watching the Chicago Blackhawks.
Dr Ninos Awraham
Dr. Ninos Awraham graduated from New York University and has been practicing dentistry for nearly 20 years. Dr. Awraham has completed continuing education and advanced training in cosmetic dentistry techniques and technologies to help his patients achieve their greatest smile potential.
Dr. Awraham is a member of the American Dental Association. He places a strong emphasis on making sure our patients receive the treatment that is right for their individual needs and that they are happy with their smile.
Patients enjoy seeing Dr. Ninos Awraham because of his easy-going, likable personality and family-friendly approach. In fact, Dr. Awraham is best known to his patients and staff by his first name, Dr. Ninos.
In his spare time, Dr. Ninos Awraham plays hockey and travels the country.
Maryana Shtypula, RDH
Maryana was born and raised in Ukraine. When she turned 18 years old her family immigrated to the US. Maryana obtained a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Indiana University Northwest. She is licensed as a dental hygienist in both states Indiana and Illinois. Also, Maryana is certified in administering local anesthesia.
Maryanas ' professional affiliations include being a member of the America Dental Hygiene Association, and Illinois dental hygienist Association. She is also an active member of the nonprofit organization Ukrainians in Medicine.
As a health care provider Maryana applies her professional knowledge and skills to serve her community with the highest standards of care. She believes that prevention and treatment of oral diseases should be considered as an integral component of total health.
Yulia Garasemyuk, RDH
Yulia was born and raised in Ukraine. She gained her master’s degree in General Medicine in 2011. Later, at the age of 23, she moved to the USA, where she obtained an associate of science in dental hygiene from William Rainey Harper College in Palatine. Yulia is a member of American Dental Hygienists’ Association, Illinois Dental Hygienists’ Association, and Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society.
Yulia’s goal is to educate her patients and guide them to achieve optimal oral health. She truly enjoys working with people of diverse backgrounds and those with special needs. Yulia finds it gratifying to utilize her professional knowledge and skills in serving people. She enjoys working with all ages including adults and children. When Yulia is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Dr Ludmila Kolarikova
Dr. Ludmila Kolarikova was born and raised in Czech Republic. After immigrating to the United States, she held various positions in the health care. Her interest in dentistry convinced her to go back to school and acquire a doctoral degree in oral medicine. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After enrolling at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, she underwent extensive clinical training at the university’s Dental Institute and at the rotations at the community clinics.
Dr. Kolarikova graduated the dental school on top of her class and was presented with Award of Excellence in Patient Care. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Kolarikova is fully committed to improving the oral health of her patients. She is very companionate and specializes in working with anxious patients. She utilizes humor and relaxation techniques and always tries to make the dental appointment a positive experience.
In her free time, she enjoys discovering the diversity of Chicago’s ethnic neighborhoods and their distinctive cuisine.
